IF THE DATA PROCESSING IS CARRIED OUT ON THE BASIS OF ART. 6 (1) LIT. E OR F GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AT ANY TIME FOR REASONS RESULTING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION, TO LODGE AN OBJECTION AGAINST THE PROCESING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. Right to lodge an objection with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of any violation of the GDPR, the persons concerned have the right to lodge an objection with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state in which they are customarily resident, at their workplace or the location of the alleged violation. The right to object applies irrespective of any other judicial or administrative legal remedies.

Right to data transferability

You have the right to have the data that we automatically process based on your consent or in order to fulfil a contract provided to your or to a third party in a standard machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another data controller, this shall be carried out only insofar as this is technically feasible.

Information, deletion, and correction

Within the scope of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time and free of charge to request information on which of your personal data is stored, the origin, recipient and purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, the right to correct or delete this data. Please do not hesitate to contact us at any time for this purpose or if you have any other questions relating to the subject of personal data.

Right to restrict processing

You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted. You can contact us at any time to this end. The right to restrict processing applies in the following cases:

  • If you contest the accuracy of the personal data we have stored on you, we generally require some time to review this. You have the right to demand that the processing of your personal data be restricted for the duration of this review period.
  • If the processing of your personal data was or is currently taking place unlawfully, you may request that, instead of deleting the data, the processing be restricted.

  • If you lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, your interests must be weighed against ours. You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted until such time as it has been established which interests take precedence.
  • If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this information – with the exception of the storage thereof – is permitted to be processed only with your consent or in the course of the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims, or to protect the rights of another natural person or legal entity, or where there is an important public interest in the processing on the part of the European Union or one of its member states.

SSL- or TLS-encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential information, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us, the website operators, this website uses SSL- or TLS-encryption. An encrypted connection can be recognised by the fact that the address line of the browser switches from “http://” to “https://” and the lock symbol appears in your browser line.

If SSL- or TLS-encryption is activated, the data that you provide to us cannot be read by third parties.

4. Data collection on this website

Cookies

Our website uses “cookies”. Cookies are small data packages and do not harm your device. They are stored on your device temporarily for the duration of a visit (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are deleted automatically when you leave the website. Permanent cookies continue to be stored on your device until such time as you delete them, or your web browser automatically deletes them.

In some instances, cookies from third party companies may be stored on your devices when you access our website (third-party cookies). These allow us or you to use certain services of that third party company (e.g., cookies for payment processing).

Cookies have various functions. Numerous cookies are required for technical purposes, as certain website functions do not work without them (e.g., the shopping basket function or playing video content). Other cookies serve to evaluate user behaviour or display advertising.

Cookies that are necessary for electronic communication, for the provision of certain functions requested by you (e.g. for the shopping basket function) or in order to optimise the website (e.g. cookies to measure web audience) (necessary cookies), are stored on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is stated. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies necessary for the provision of its services free from technical errors and to optimise the provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies was provided, the processing is carried out solely on the basis of that consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and Section 25 (1) TTDSG); this consent can be withdrawn at any time.

You can configure your browser to notify you when cookies are stored and consent to cookies on a case-by-case basis, exclude cookies in certain circumstances or in general or activate automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. Deactivating cookies may restrict the functions of this website.

If third-party cookies or cookies for analysis purposes are used, we will notify you separately within the scope of this data protection policy and, if necessary, request consent.

Server-log-files

The website provider collects and automatically stores information in server log files that your browser automatically sends to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of server request
  • IP-address
  • This data will not be combined with other data sources.

This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the website operating free from technical errors and in the optimisation of their website – the server log files are recorded for this purpose.

Contact form

If you submit requests via the contact form, the details you provide in the form, including the contact details you provide, will for the purposes of processing your request and any subsequent questions be stored by our sales partner DAHLER & COMPANY Projektmarketing GmbH, Großer Grasbrook 9, 20457 Hamburg.

The processing of this data is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, if your request is connected with the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary in order to perform precontractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the requests addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR) provided this was requested; this consent can be withdrawn at any time.

The data entered by you in the contact form stays with us until such time as you request that it be deleted, you withdraw your consent to the storage or the purpose of the data storage ceases to exist (e.g. on completion of your request). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular storage periods – remain unaffected by this.

Request by e-mail, telephone, or fax

If you contact us by e-mail, phone or fax, your request, including all resulting personal data (name, details of query) will be stored and processed by us for the purposes of processing your request. We will never share this information without your consent.

This information is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, if your request relates to the fulfilment of a contract or is required in the course of the performance of precontractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of requests submitted to us (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR) insofar as this was requested; this consent can be withdrawn at any time.

The data you provide to us through the contact form is kept by us until such time as you request that it be deleted, you withdraw your consent or the purpose of the data storage ceases to apply (e.g. after your request has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory storage requirements – remain unaffected by this.
